Special Programs

Equpping the Saints

The Equipping the Saints program is a five-year series of studies designed to deepen church members in their knowledge of and devotion to the high calling of discipleship.  Each of the five classes takes up one important aspect in what it means to follow Jesus.  By the completion of the five courses, participants will be well-equipped to live more faithfully as committed Christians.

The courses are open to everyone, and participants may begin the program at any point in the five-year rotation.  All the classes are taught by Dr. Seel and meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00.  Each class also makes use of a textbook, with assigned readings for each week.  The five courses in the Equipping the Saints rotation are:

Year One:      How to Read the Bible
Year Two:    What Christians Believe
Year Three:    The Church’s Story
Year Four:    Knowing Right from Wrong
Year Five:    Living as a Christian

bff (Bible Fellowship Faith)

Bible-Fellowship-Faith (bff) is a weekly gathering for anyone interested in growing in their relationship with God and with others.  All gatherings are facilitated by Rev. Christie Gravely and take place on Friday mornings. Each meeting includes time for prayer, Bible study, and group discussion.  Casual conversation, hot coffee and homemade refreshments encourage the participants to develop connections with other Christians and build new friendships.  Current books about Christian discipleship provide the topics for each semester and class members read a chapter or two prior to each meeting. All are welcome!  For more information about bff and to sign up for this class, please click the image below.
