The most important thing that happens at Easley Presbyterian Church is worship. It is our center, from which every other activity of the church draws its meaning and inspiration. Just as the Westminster Shorter Catechism put it, our chief end is “to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” And so we gather each week, as God’s own people, to praise our God, to hear Him speak to us through Scripture and Sermon, to re-anchor our lives in the redeeming work of our Savior Jesus Christ, and to be refreshed in our covenant relationship with God. Worship brings us together and binds us together as a congregation. It is what we do on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary that empowers us to go forth into our daily lives to live as our Lord has called us. On Sunday we offer two traditional worship services, Sunday School for all ages, an afternoon Equipping the Saints series for adults, and an evening youth fellowship and Bible Study. Worship through music is provided by vocal choirs and hand bell choirs for all ages, and by instrumental ensembles. Additional opportunities to worship include an annual organ recital, an annual wholeness service and evening services on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Worship Services - 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
