Growing In Community

It is just not possible to be a Christian all by yourself – nor does God want us to try to do so. He has given us the Church as a holy, if also very human, means by which to sustain us in our journey through life and to help us grow in our walk of discipleship.
At EPC, we seek to build closer a closer connection to God and a richer relationship with others in God’s family of faith. We seek to establish the sort of community in which we rejoice with one another in times of success, support one another in times of stress and distress, and encourage one another in all the times in between. We seek to be the Body of Christ (I Cor. 12), in which all are valued, all have a place, and all are serving one another in love.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging g one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.Hebrews 10:23-25
