Together we will study the Church’s story, from its earliest days in Jerusalem all the way to the present day. We will focus not so much on just names and dates, as upon the great movements of faith and the way the Holy Spirit has guided the Church through the centuries. It is a very exciting story – how could it not be, since it is the Church’s story? And the more we learn of the Church’s story, the more we will see the helpful connections between the saints and ourselves. Prior participation in the Equipping the Saints program is not required. And that is precisely what this year’s Equipping the Saints Class is all about -- learning from that great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us in the faith how to run better the race that is set before us as present-day Christians.
