Hospitalizations:  IMPORTANT!  governmental LAW prohibits hospitals from giving out information about your hospitalization - even to your pastors.  This means that you must tell us which hospital you are in, what your room number is, and you must tell the hospital that you want visits from your pastors.  Please share this information with your family before your hospitalization.

Facilities Request - New policies from the Building Committee have been adopted concerning use of our church building.  Reservations (by members or non-members) must be made in person Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Church Office.  Your meeting or activity will be reserved on the calendar upon completion of the request form and payment of the fees listed below.  Requests are approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.  (Wedding fees are different and are listed on an additional form that is required.)

          Parlor and/or Upstairs Kitchen - $50.00
          Fellowship Hall and/or Downstairs Kitchen - $50.00

     Non-Members
          Parlor and/or Upstairs Kitchen - $75.00
          Fellowship Hall and/or Downstairs Kitchen - $100.00

Just a Reminder - We have a phone information line that you may call after office hours (859-0212 - press #5) for emergency phone numbers, service times, any holiday schedules for the office, and for family matters and activities.  If the line just keeps ringing, please call back, because it means that someone else is listening to the messages.  It will not ring busy.

Be in the Know - Need to know if a church activity or service is being cancelled due to bad weather or other emergency?  Check one of these:  this web site or the information phone line (see below).  Remember... if Pickens County schools are cancelled, so are church activities for that day.

Bus Drivers Needed - Due to insurance purposes, it is required that drivers be between 25 and 65 years of age.  This will make our present qualified driver's list smaller.  Please consider signing up!  Being a driver consists mainly of going to the Presbyterian Home one Sunday every few months to pick up the residents there and bring them to church services.  You may call the church office to put your name on the list, and we will get back with you with more details and a schedule of dates.  If you have questions, someone will be happy to talk with you.

Phone Tree - We have technology in place that allows recorded messages to be sent to the entire congregation, or to smaller groups.  From time to time, you may receive a message from one of the staff members reminding you of upcoming events or meetings.  It may also be used to notify you of service cancellations due to bad weather.  If you hear a greeting from EPC - don't hang up!  Be sure and listen for an important message for you.
